Last year in July, Alison and her father (Don, pictured) did the first day of the Seattle to Portland ride (~100 of the 220 miles). Don is 65, and he had only ridden 7-8mile trips on his bike before the STP. All three of us are doing it together this year, and I am pretty much just hoping to keep up with Don, who has been training a lot more and may very well dust my ass.
