and the service even better. Our waiter was extremely gracious and
gave us all cups of a traditional drink called kompote. Then, as we
were leaving, he gave us a sweetly wrapped package of cookies that he
had made himself. According to Bryan, this is very very strange
behavior for Russia--and we came up with a number if theories for the
niceness.
Bryan's leading theory: he was a new waiter and was being overly nice.
Our theory: queer waiter being nice to lesbos.
